Months in recovery: 9       Age: 30       Gender: Female

I decided I had enough when I ended up in jail for a misdemeanor charge. I have been in recovery before, but then I was too weak to fight off the temptations. I got on my knees in that jail cell and prayed for the taste and obsession to be taken from me.

Recovery is the best thang that could ever happen to me. I love life and everything in it. There is no way to describe the feelig you get from knowing, you don't have to look over your shoulder, or wonder where you're going to sleep, or what you're going to eat. And there is nothing greater than being able to put a key into the door of YOUR own place.

I want to become a drug and alocohol counselor... I believe I can help other addicts.
